Ami Shah is a Certified Financial Planner, Harvard College and HBS alumna. She spent a decade as a consultant at McKinsey & Company’s Wealth and Asset Management practice. Ami made a career switch from consulting to financial planning after seeing how many unanswered questions her friends and family, even those who were business school grads and "in finance", had when it came to making the most of their money and investing.  In this work she's seen two troubling trends time and time again: (a) investing options and tax law are getting more and more complicated, and (b) a pressing need for holistic easy-to-execute advice for families stuck in a no man’s land between DIY and white-glove wealth advisors.  After serving as a white-glove planner to ultra-high net worth families, her mission is to open up this knowledge to many more people, beyond the "0.01%".  She's presented to BCG, Disney, Uber, Stanford Business School, Harvard alums, and more.
